This poor dog rescued by Mira Gamal Shelter and Stray Dog Support Inc.:
"Look at this poor girl who is called Touffy who has been suffering for a long time with a giant size tumor that stretches the whole length of her stomach. This tumor was so big that she could not even lay down and would lay with her back legs up. Touffy who is being cared for by our partner rescue is currently in the hospital after we had to get an emergency surgery done to remove it. It was a massive surgery as the tumor was very large and it took a long time to complete.
Touffy will be in the hospital for at least 20 to 25 days where she can be monitored and her stomach incisions which are large can be cleaned and dressed daily. We need to make sure that she does not open her stitches given the size and also need to ensure that she does not get any infections. Touffy is on pain medication and antibiotics and needs to be kept quiet and her movement limited. We think this girl is only around 2-3 years old so she has a very long life ahead of her so we will do everything we can for her. Please help and prayers for her."
