This poor dog rescued by VetVan Thailand:
"Three weeks ago, We were contacted about a dog laying, crying in pain, unable to lift his head or stand.
Locals who called us believed he was poisoned but once rescued and checked over, we found nothing to indicate poisoning but instead found him with a huge neck wound, many smaller bite wounds and he was riddled with fleas and eggs.
Max’s wounds around his neck appear to be from dog bites but doctors suspect the large straight cuts on his back to potentially be from a blade/knife in human hands!
Blood test results show he has an infection, likely caused by the wound on his back.
And 3 weeks on and Max is now able to stand and walk but struggling to lift his head. Dr Note is hopeful that with continued physical therapy he will be able to lift his head in the future. And has said I guess the reason for not being able to lift his head is brain injury from liver problem before. After everything has been treated, he can move much better, he just needs help by physical therapy.
