My $150 Walmart Hyper Hydroform 29er full suspension bike build vs stock

Do you need to spend $2k+ to have a good time on a bike? No. Is there a big difference between a $150 bike and a $750 bike? Yes, and in the video I show why.

Last year around this time Walmart had a sale on these full suspension Hyper Hydroform 29er bikes for $150. I picked up 2 with the plan of upgrading one and then comparing it to stock. Last week I finally had the chance to ride the upgraded Hyper on the Cypresswood trail here in Houston and it was a lot of fun. Yes it has limitations (primarily in the front shock) and I'm not sure how the long term durability of the frame or the pivots will turn out but it was still fun for something costing so little relative to other bikes.

Total $700 (this was a while ago, so now the price would be much more unfortunately!). Plus tax for the bike, star nut and new stem cap, also converted tires to tubeless so to round up we will say $750 total material cost.
