The frame is made from premium materials including aerospace-grade aluminium and processes to heat-treat the aluminium and increase its strength. This makes the frame’s tube walls to be thinner, lighter and stronger than a normal wheelchair.

The Quickie Helium Pro has a starting weight of just 6.8 kg, with a maximum user weight of 125 kg.

The Helium Pro design includes a welded frame and fixed axle stem that provides the best level of rigidy for the most efficient driving performance. If you’re looking for a simple and minimalistic wheelchair design there is also the option of a welded backrest too.
