I’ve been fighting unreliable presence detection in my home for a while, using everything from DIY ESPHome sensors to battery-powered mmWave devices.

The Solution:
In this video, I walk through setting up the Apollo Automation MSR-2 with Home Assistant and show how I’m using it in my own presence automation.

This isn’t a review or a spec rundown. It’s about getting presence working with the right devices, so you can stop fighting it and stop thinking about it altogether.
