I Kept Forgetting the Blinds… So I Automated Them

Blinds up at night.
Blinds down during the day.
No matter how many people live in the house… somehow it still keeps happening.

So I finally decided to automate them.

In this video I install and test the Zemismart MPT1 Matter over Thread blind motor to see whether smart blinds can actually solve one of those small everyday annoyances.

I paired this into Apple Home using a HomePod mini as my Thread border router, but the setup process is similar across most Matter ecosystems.
