Scranton's Mayor Paige Cognetti talks about the barriers and pushback she faced when deciding to run for office.

The discussion was part of a Philadelphia Citizen event called Run For Something — about inspiring more young people to run for political office. The full panel features three other millennials who are taking on the gerontocracy: PA State Representative Joanna McClinton, Philadelphia City Councilmember Isaiah Thomas and Run For Something co-founder Amanda Litman.
