Do you regret breaking up? Coach Alexandre Cormont is here to advise our viewers on Love Advice TV on how to get your ex back when you are the dumper.

If you regret breaking and want to get your ex back when you're the dumper, you need to not blame yourself. Most of the time, people did not want to end the relationship. They just wanted to get a reaction from their ex.

You love the person you were with, but you were not happy. Therefore, you wanted to create a reaction that the breakup did not create for you.

You need to consider two things.

One, you want to come back and say, "I love you. I made a mistake." This is not the right action to do because the relationship is already broken, the trust has been broken, and you're not focusing on the things that you actually wanted to change.

The best action you can do is explain to them, "I decided to breakup, but it wasn't because I don't love you. It's that I wasn't happy in the relationship because [insert reasons]." Be honest about why you regret breaking up.

If you can show him or her that you really understand what was going on inside you, then you can restart from scratch. Your ex ALSO needs to understand what was going on inside of you that lead you to break up with them and now regret breaking up.

Two, you should not try to get back with your ex - at least not any time soon - because your ex will be so mad and angry at you. You need to come and just try to rebuild the communication and the foundation for trust and chemistry, which is what we want.

Getting your ex back is about recreating something special, spending time together, then creating attraction, and ultimately wanting to, and taking it further. This is how you rebuild a relationship.
