AI Destroys Hide-and-Seek: Discovers Cooperation & Coordination

AI destroys hide-and-seek and discovers AI cooperation and AI coordination. OpenAI hide and seek.

You can't beat AI in this game of Hide-and-Seek. OpenAI trains agents to destroy the age-old game, demonstrating massive leaps in cooperation, coordination, and some AI generalization.
Watch as the AI agents display emergent learning of behaviors and strategies. At least 7 times the Artificial Intelligent agents learn to do things they were not "programmed" to do. They use tools to their benefit over long time horizons, and subvert adversary behavior with cunning strategy that adapts as the environment does.
