Homeless Omaha man attacked with pipes, boards (Exclusive)

Omaha police are investigating a brutal attack on Sean Johnson, a man living in an abandoned building near Center Street. Police say 8–10 people attacked him May 12 with pipes and boards while filming. A woman who saw the video, Julia Dueling, reported it and later checked on Johnson in person — then organized help, including a GoFundMe and shipments of clothing and supplies from around the country. Outreach groups have also offered assistance to help people in the building find stable housing. Police have not released suspect or motive information.
