Repair Faulty mr16 Halogen Light Socket with a GU-10 socket

Here is an option for repairing the mr16 two pin halogen bulb socket if it begins to fail.
You can get another type of socket and bulb style called GU-10 it has a better connection and will give you new life for a bad light.
Warning!! you must use ceramic wire connectors or a high heat connector in the light can since it is a high heat environment.
This set up will allow you to use a 12v dimmable led and it might be easier to find.
