2018年，北京人劉菲和弟弟決定改造各自繼承的兩處四合院，請來設計師成直將孤立的幾個老宅串通起來，把床擺在兩個院子之間，200多年的地窖被完好地保留下來，入口暗藏在沙發下面，存放了幾十件古董，成了大家最喜歡逛的地方。

In 2018, Liu Fei, from Beijing, and her brother decided to renovate their two inherited siheyuan compounds. They asked the designer to connect the originally separated old houses and place a bed between two courtyards. An over-200-year-old cellar has been kept intact with the entrance hidden under a sofa. Housing several dozen antiques, the cellar is now their’ favorite place to hang around.
