Dorper Sheep Lambing Day 1: OUR FIRST LAMB ON THE HOMESTEAD!

This is the first of a two part video series of my ewes first lambing season.

In between one of my visits checking on my ewes one of them had given birth AND licked the lamb dry. Immediately I dipped the cord in 5% iodine. Shortly after that the little lamb was already getting good suck from here mama.

So fun to see this cute little lamb join us.

My second ewe still hasn't lambed, looks like I'll be up most of the night checking for new lambs. Don't want to miss that iodine dunk.
