The Diamonds (Rockstar Logic #2 - GTA IV)

Reviewing the events surrounding the Diamonds while wondering what the hell was Rockstar thinking while working on this part of the storyline.

1. Why did the chef hide the diamonds in cakes, just to sell them straight off the boat?
2. If TBoGT campaign only starts after the Liberty Bank heist, how long did the chef have the diamonds before selling them?
3. What happened to the money Tony payed the chef? Did Bulgarin get it after killing him? Did he manage to spend it all or give to someone else?
4. Why didn't anyone chase the truck with the diamonds? or drive shortly after to the city dump to find the diamonds?
5. How did the diamonds get to Meadows Park in Dukes?

How did Rockstar make such a huge oversight?
