Gimme fuel, Gimme fire, Gimme that which I desire – uuuoogh!!!! I know there are at least a dozen good choices for Metallica covers but Fuel, off of the Reload album sounded like an awful lot of fun. I also like the fact that the lyrics in this song leave quite a bit of room for a listener to decide for themselves what they want the song to be about at any given time. Metallica is clearly a legendary band with a huge body of songs and fans and I won’t be surprised if this isn’t the last time I jam along with one. (Assuming Metallica lets this one stay on YT...)

I’m 14 years old and I want to be a musician when I grow up. I try to play many instruments but the one that I feel most at home on is a drum set. I would say the only thing that impresses me more than a great musician is a great songwriter so I also spend some of my time trying to learn the magic of songwriting. I thought it would help me keep focused on music if I started a drum series where I learned a new song every couple of weeks. After 4 years, it’s now turned into a larger musical search but my goal hasn’t changed. Hopefully, I will keep doing it, keep loving music and keep getting better.
