Green Day – September / Led Zeppelin / Jackson Browne / Jack Johnson / covers by Mia /Insta 12

Green Day has so many great songs and I’ve already covered a couple on drums over the years. Wake Me Up When September Ends is a song that could be played in almost any style or broken down to just chords and melody and it would still sound great. For me, that’s a sign of a really well written song. Two days ago, I was goofing around with one of my favorite Led Zeppelin guitar riffs from, The Ocean and I couldn’t resist pressing record after it started sounding halfway decent :) The Last two songs are an absolute classic by Jackson Browne called, Doctor My Eyes and song that I fell in love with called Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson. I would love to do some outdoor, summer festival show with that dude… He just writes simple, catchy, fun songs with a great vibe.

It's fun to be able to do some quick projects of songs I really love or grooves that I think sound cool. I hope you find them entertaining. One other social media I do is Spotify. I’m 14 years old and I want to be a musician when I grow up. I try to play lots of instruments but the one that I feel most at home on is a drum set. I would say the only thing that impresses me more than a great musician is a great songwriter so I also spend some of my time trying to learn the magic of songwriting. I thought it would help me keep focused on music if I started a drum series where I learned a new song every couple of weeks. After 4 years, it’s now turned into a larger musical search but my goal hasn’t changed. Hopefully, I will keep doing it, keep loving music and keep getting better.
