MOONLIGHT SERENADE / IT HAPPENED IN SUN VALLEY | Stephanie Trick & Paolo Alderighi

We wanted to make a medley in four hands as a tribute to one of the great bandleaders of the Swing Era, Glenn Miller. His orchestra had a very special, recognizable sound. Their biggest hit was an evocative and melancholy composition by Miller, "Moonlight Serenade." Paolo has re-envisioned this song with a modern twist. In contrast to the moonlit mood of the first song, we wanted to brighten things up with the effervescent "It Happened in Sun Valley," which was written by Harry Warren and Mack Gordon for the 1941 film "Sun Valley Serenade."
