The Love of Learning, a Conversation with Margarita Mooney

Prof. Margarita A. Mooney discusses her new book, "The Love of Learning: Seven Dialogues on the Liberal Arts," and explains what these conversations reveal about learning, the moral responsibilities of educators, and the purpose of liberal arts education at colleges and universities. Joining her in this discussion is IHS senior program officer Dr. Bradley Jackson.

Dr. Margarita Mooney is an associate professor of congregational studies at the Princeton Theological Seminary and founder and executive director of the Scala Foundation. She earned her MA and PhD in sociology from Princeton University, and her BA in psychology at Yale University. Most recently, she served as an associate research scientist in the Department of Sociology at Yale, and previously taught at Princeton University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
