Modifying your HZ Super Cub - Part 3, Adding LiPoly Battery

In this part I describe how to modify the battery box to a stock Super Cub for a 3 cell LiPo battery.

This is the plane I originally learned to fly on early this spring and have since built two more Cubs with upgraded electronics & ailerons. My wife has also been learning to fly on her mod Super Cub with the DX6i buddy box system and now she's ready to learn the final stages of flying... Take-offs and Landings! This tutorial is about adding a 3 cell LiPo battery to the stock Cub which I'll teaching her to land with (she's gotten too attached to her yellow piper Super Cub).

In the next few tutorials I'll be building a Super Cub from scratch with all the mods, and showing how to setup the DX6i as a buddy box system.
