How to remove serious nail stains!

My nails always react to green polish for some reason, even though I always use a protective basecoat. But! What a great opportunity to revisit the baking soda remidy to see if it really works!
Last time I mistook baking powder for baking soda, mainly because the baking soda is called Natron in norvegian and baking powder is called bake pulver, so yes, my fault for not checking that out.
