** Make sure to ALWAYS finishing filing your nails by filing in ONE DIRECTION ONLY. This is really important because if you file back and forth and don't file in one direction afterwards, it leaves the tips of your nails weak and prone to breakage. Filing back and forth is fine, as long as it's done gently, and you finish off by filing in one direction. Filing in one direction afterwards prevents damage to the nails and smooths out any imperfections. This includes the sides of your nails as well :)
