In a firm and decisive statement aboard the papal plane, Pope Leo XIV has ruled out the possibility of formal blessings for same-sex couples. While echoing the call that the Church is for "everyone, everyone, everyone," he made it clear that inclusion cannot be separated from repentance and discipleship.

The Pope warned that expanding these blessings would be "pastorally irresponsible" and risk deeper division within the faith. For him, a welcome into the Church must also be a call to follow the path of Christ. ⚖️
