Sometimes less is more. Flying EDF jets with retracts and flaps can add to much complexity...and it's just not worth the effort and expense. In this series I am exploring using a much cheaper hand launchable EDF jet for FPV formation flying. In this second episode I fly the Su-27 while wearing the DJI FPV goggles. On the previous video I found out that the DJI FPV system will not go to full power unless it sees the arming signal from a flight controller it is connected to. I installed a Matek F411 WTE Wing Flight Controller connected to a Matek Ublox GPS Module SAM-M10Q then installed and configured iNav 6.1 onto the flight controller.
