More on Electrostatics: Monopole and Dipole Moments
In this video, it is shown the way to define the monopole and the dipole moments of a discrete and continuos distribution of electric charges. There is an application of the direction cosines to define the dipole moment. All this is used to calculate the electric potential due to the distribution.
