Unified super bantamweight world champion, Stephen Fulton, has weighed in with his prediction for the hotly anticipated undisputed welterweight world title fight between Errol Spence Jr and Terence Crawford.

The two Americans will do battle for all four world titles on July 29th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, in one of the best match ups to be made in the entire sport.

And it is perhaps no surprise that unified bantamweight world champion Fulton is backing PBC stablemate Spence to emerge with all the marbles.

Fulton told FightHub:

“I’m rocking with Spence! He’s like my stablemate, plus his resume – he’s got one of the best resumes in the sport of boxing. He’s fought a load of good contenders and champions.

I feel like Spence has got that power to break you down, and the pressure to break you down. Crawford has got that street style, and I like that. He’s a lot more elusive, but I feel like Errol is a lot more put together and Crawford has a looser style.”

With both Spence and Crawford now in their mid thirties, fears were growing amongst the boxing public that the historic undisputed fight would ever take place, especially given the outside of the ring barriers that have always seemed to divide the pair.

However, after years of wasted negotiations and public he said she said, terms were finally settled for the two pound for pound stars to compete for all the marbles at 147lbs.

Neither Spence nor Crawford have ever taste defeat and have a knack for finishing fights early, so fans are surely are in for a night to remember in Las Vegas.

Errol Spence Jr and Terence Crawford are finally set to go head-to-head, and a former opponent of ‘Bud’ is picking Spence to get a knockout victory.

After years of failed negotiations, Spence and Crawford will meet next month for the undisputed welterweight championship of the world in one of the most highly anticipated fights in the modern era.

One man with a better insight to the fight than most is Hank Lundy, who was stopped in the fifth round by Crawford back in 2016 when challenging for the WBO super-lightweight title.

“I got Spence going to another dimension. I know where Crawford is lacking, he wants to fight too much. Instead of boxing, Crawford got that dog in him, he’s not going to go the whole 12 rounds and box, he’s going to want to fight and when he wants to fight that’s when a lot of trouble is going to happen for him – he has to stay true to his game.

Pressure bursts pipes, when you’ve got a guy like Spence putting pressure on you, what’s going to happen? I know Crawford, he’s going to want to fight.

I think Spence will end up getting the stoppage. I see Crawford getting wild and letting them hands go fighting when he’s not supposed to fight. I think Spence is going to be too much, he’s the bigger guy.”

In an interview with FightHype, Lundy predicts a knockout for Spence, saying Crawford’s major flaw is he can’t resist getting involved in a fire fight.
