Anatomy of the Hand and Wrist

This is an informational overview video on the anatomy of the hand. In this video I will cover all the intrinsic hand muscles, hand bones, and the ligaments. We will also cover some tips and tricks to remember them.

Bones of the hand:
Carpal Bones
( Scaphoid, Lunate, Triquetrum, Pisiform, Trapezium, Trapezoid, Capitate, and Hamate)
Metacarpus
Proximal Phalanges
Middle Phalanges
Distal Phalanges

Finger ligaments:
Collateral ligament
Transverse metacarpal ligament
Volar ligament

Intrinsic hand muscles:
Thenar (thumb)
(Abductor Pollicis Brevis, Flexor Pollicis Brevis, Opponens Pollicis)
Hypothenar (pink)
(Opponens Digiti Minimi, Flexor Digiti Minimi Brevis, Abductor Digiti Minimi)
Interosseous
Lumbrical
