लोकसभा में पास होने के बाद Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2025 को आज Rajya Sabha में पेश किया गया है। केंद्रीय अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्री Kiren Rijiju ने बिल को सदन के पटल पर रखा। बता दें कि करीब 12 घंटे लंबी बहस और तीखी नोकझोंक के बाद, Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2025 को बुधवार देर रात Lok Sabha में पारित कर दिया गया। इस विधेयक के पक्ष में 288 वोट पड़े, जबकि विपक्ष में 232 सांसदों ने मतदान किया। यह विधेयक वक्फ संपत्तियों के प्रशासन और प्रबंधन को बेहतर करने के उद्देश्य से लाया गया था, जिसे लेकर सत्तारूढ़ NDA और विपक्षी दलों के बीच गहरा मतभेद देखने को मिला। अब सभी की नजरें Rajya Sabha पर टिकी हैं।
