प्रधानमंत्री Narendra Modi के Thailand दौरे के दौरान Ministry of External Affairs ने प्रेस वार्ता की। पीएम मोदी ने Thailand के PM से मुलाकात की और India-Thailand के बीच 6 Memorandum of Understanding पर हस्ताक्षर किए। उन्होंने 6th BIMSTEC Summit में भाग लिया और 21-point Action Plan की घोषणा की। साथ ही, पीएम ने Myanmar में earthquake में जान गंवाने वालों के प्रति संवेदना व्यक्त की और संकट के इस समय India की Myanmar के साथ एकजुटता पर जोर दिया। पीएम ने Myanmar में democracy की बहाली का समर्थन किया और Bangladesh की interim government के Chief Advisor से मुलाकात कर वहां minorities की सुरक्षा के महत्व को उजागर किया।
