2003 TiVo promo DVD "TV Your Way"

This is a free DVD you could get from TiVo by request- I tried to get all the free DVDs out there. Has some average Joes saying why TiVo is so great but also a few celebrities- Neil Patrick Harris (who thinks being able to watch America's Funniest Home Videos frame by frame is totally worth getting one of these), Michael McKean who should be too smart to bother with broadcast TV but accurately predicts the death of VHS, Lance Henriksen and Ahmet Zappa.

I always thought these things came out about 15 years too late, as TV was largely an unwatchable mess and not worth watching much less recording, and if I did want to record anything I'd want it saved to a permanent medium and not a hard drive that would eventually die and get thrown out. The one shown here seems to only support analog standard-def, so it would be worthless in about 6 years. I have a hard time believing this video is already 20 years old, regardless.
