The entrance to the property is via a wonderful stone-paved courtyard into a reception room with an open-backed fireplace shared with the very large, open-plan kitchen and dining area. From the dining area there is access to a both the wisteria smothered pergola and a beautiful covered portico. Adjacent to the kitchen there is a conservatory and a handy pantry. The covered portico, wonderful for dining when the weather is inclement, also opens into a cosy sitting area which leads to an office space with gallery above, a guest bathroom and a study which is currently used as a fifth bedroom. The study has a corner fireplace and an adjacent bathroom.

Stairs from the sitting area lead to the upper floors which can be completely closed off if necessary. On the first floor there is bedroom with ensuite bathroom plus what is essentially a suite with bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. From this floor there is access to the loggia (external staircase) which leads down to the aforementioned courtyard.

The second floor is a replica of the first with both a suite and the fourth bathroom.

The orchard contains a veritable fruit salad of trees including apple, pear, plum, cherry, peach, nectarine and walnut. The westward view takes in not only the garden but the whole of the valley and the nearby church bells are clearly audible.

The underfloor heating, sectionalised so portions of the property can be left unheated if need be, is fired by the pellet stove (located in the sitting room) which is more economical than LPG gas which is only used for hot water. A telephone line is connected, there is wifi throughout the house as well as hard wiring for internet connection. The music system has speakers outside and in.
