Step back in time. Forgotten Italian Property.

Well, here we go again, back in Anghiari on another amazing 16th century forgotten Italian property tour.

My name is Nick Ferrand and these are my "One Take Italian Property Tours". This tour is absolutely unbelievable with hidden treasures, a cantina full of antique wine barrels, incredible original frescoed doors, handmade terracotta Italian floors and secret passages. Come with me on this UNIQUE Italian property tour of two huge interconnecting forgotten buildings in Anghiari, Tuscany.

Anghiari is the most incredible medieval town which is famous for the Battle of Anghiari in 1440, when a Florentine army won the battle against an army from Milan. A fresco depicting the "Battle of Anghiari" was painted by Leonardo da Vinci in the Salone dei Cinquecento, Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. Unfortunately this fresco has been lost and is called "The Lost Leonardo". However many preparatory studies by Leonardo da Vinci still exist. A central section of the fresco was painted by Rubens in 1603 and this interpretation can be seen in the Louvre, Paris.

Anghiari is surrounded by a huge 13th century wall and internally there are
tiny streets with incredible original medieval houses. Anghiari is
considered one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. I would highly
recommend, if you are travelling in Italy and find yourself on the Umbrian
Tuscan border, to go to Anghiari.

Anghiari is approximately 30 minutes from Arezzo, 90 minutes from Florence and 3 hours north of Rome.
