Self-Esteem and Internal Revolution (Gloria Steinem)
Feminist Gloria Steinem discusses her book "Revolution from Within: A Book of Self-Esteem" with Upon Reflection host Marcia Alvar in this interview from the University of Washington. Steinem discusses her childhood experiences and events in her adult life that influenced the book. A lack of positive self-esteem, especially in this country, Steinem argues, lies at the root of many social and political problems.
