Hungarian Feast in Japan 🇭🇺

Today, I try some traditional Hungarian food made by my new Hungarian friends. Recently, I met a nice couple from Hungary who had moved to Gunma to work on a lettuce farm. They have been traveling around Japan on a working holiday for the past year. For the past 3 or so months they've been in Shibukawa, Japan working early every morning from 4 am on the farm. Unfortunately they are taking off soon, so they wanted to put on a Hungarian feast for their boss and coworkers at the farm. I was luckily enough to tag along and join this Hungarian cookout. I tried some fasirt, kalacs, and nokedli for the first time. It was all delicious, but being in Japan they weren't able to find all the right ingredients, so they had to make do with what they could find in the Japanese supermarket. So even though it was tasty, I can't wait to try the 'real' dishes in Hungary with all the right ingredients. Thank you for the amazing meal, the next one will be in Hungary!
