Fixing AI Bugs & Adding Features | Learning game dev with godot /ep 139

In this episode of Chill Sunday Morning Coding, I continue working on my Godot game project, 'Nom Zom Defense: Click. Aim. Survive.' During this stream, I tackle a variety of tasks, including fine-tuning zombie AI, addressing player and enemy interactions, and introducing new gameplay features. Here's what we covered:

- Debugging AI pathfinding and collision issues to prevent zombies from getting stuck.
- Adjusting zombie attack ranges and improving health values for game balance.
- Refining scrap interaction mechanics and implementing logic for dynamic resource behaviors.
- Testing and tweaking gameplay elements such as turrets, walls, and tech tree upgrades to enhance the player experience.
- Enhancing survivor profiles with persistent lifecycle functionality, allowing characters to carry over between game scenarios.
- Discussing future feature additions, including Twitch chat integration for a more interactive gaming experience.

Throughout the stream, I shared insights into game design and problem-solving, reflecting on my journey as a self-taught game developer using Godot 4 over the past year.
