Our first day in NEW ZEALAND! With the news of the pandemic starting to make everyone nervous about travel at the beginning of 2020, we debated for weeks whether to go forward with our planned trip. At the time, we had no idea how greatly the pandemic will impact the world and travel in the coming months.


Once we arrived in New Zealand we felt a sense of relief. We explored Auckland, ate some incredibly delicious food, and hiked to the top of Mount Eden where we saw a breathtaking view of the city. Looking back, not only do we feel extremely lucky to experience the beauty of New Zealand, but also to have been able to remain safe and healthy during our entire journey.
