Bandita

She was born in my garden four years ago and has already raised several litters here - two years ago she featured in a BBC2 Natural World documentary as she cared for her kits. Watch the latest and find out how this ermine has managed to recover from a serious gash to her neck and is now caring for her kits in my front garden.

This year she has seven kits and I am able to follow them on cameras hidden in a bespoke habitat I built for stoats.
