Willd Camping with LIONS and ELEPHANTS??

Would you wild camp with lions and elephants around? We had that choice in the Okavango Delta of Botswana.

Wild camping can always be a little bit unnerving. You're out in nature, no safety nets, and nothing to protect you. It's taken completely to another level in Botswana, Africa. Here in the Okagango Delta you're essentially wild camping with elephants roaming free. At times, you're wild camping with lions directly in your camp. There's no fence, and no guard to protect you. You are one with nature.
So, would you wild camp at the Okavago Delta in Botswana? For me, it's an absolute bucket list moment. But, for Jodie, the fear or Elephants in the camp was a little too real. So, we instead slept in the car in the Okavango Delta.
Of course, we still went out and enjoyed the nature of the Okavango Delta before #wildcamping. We headed out into the Delta on a boat and it was incredible. It was so cool to have the beauty of the elephants that are so prevalent in #Botswana so near by. It was humbling and incredible.
