Are Angels real? What do they do for us? What does that have to do with us?

In Hebrews 1:14 we learn that Angels are ministering spirits that are sent out to minister on behalf of people who inherit salvation. If you are a Christian Angels have been sent forth to help you throughout your life.

1. Angels are sent to strengthen you in YOUR SPECIFIC PURPOSE.
We see twice in the life of Jesus (Matthew 4: 10-11) and again in (Luke 22: 41-43) that Angels came down to minister, refresh and strengthen him.

2. Angels are to do the will or the pleasure of God on the Earth. (Psalm 103: 20-21)
The Bible says that God takes pleasure in the prosperity of his servants (Psalm 35:27) and we know that he takes pleasure in touching and healing his children. The Bible says that God takes pleasure in bringing deliverance to the captives so anywhere God takes pleasure in something then the Bible says that Angels are the workers that actually fulfill that thing and get it done on the Earth.

3. Angels fight on behalf of God's people.
In 2 Kings 6:8-18 Elijah was surrounded by the enemy army. He prayed that his servant who was nervous would have his eyes open to see what he saw and when he did his servant immediately could see Angelic armies surrounding their enemies. We can see Angels fighting on behalf of God's people throughout the entire Bible.

4. Angels protect the children of God.
In Psalm 91:11 the Bible says that God will order his Angels to be with and protect you wherever you go.

We can see in Daniel 10:12 that it is through our words and prayer that Angels are activated on our behalf.
