Instrument Cluster LCD Display

The Instrument Cluster LCD display in your Kia provides access to various systems within the vehicle, as well as allowing you to personalize key operations.
Let’s take a look at the LCD on the Instrument Cluster in select Kia vehicles:
LCD display modes can be changed by using the control buttons on the steering wheel:
Use the MODE button to cycle through the menus…
Then use the UP AND DOWN switch on the Steering Wheel to move through the different functions…
Pressing the SELECT/RESET or OK button allows you to either select, set, or reset a selected item.
The LCD modes can include:
DRIVING ASSIST …
TRIP COMPUTER …
If equipped, TURN BY TURN …
USER SETTINGS …
INFORMATION …
And MASTER WARNING.
In the USER SETTINGS mode, you can enable and adjust the Service Interval to remind you of the next scheduled service.

For your safety, the USER SETTINGS can only be changed when the vehicle is stopped, and the transmission is in park.
Go to RESET in the USER SETTINGS to return all of the different functions back to the factory settings.
There is also a MASTER WARNING mode that displays messages related to one or more systems not operating normally.
Some of the messages you may see in the LCD Display include:
Door, hood, trunk or sunroof open …
Icy Road Warning …
And for the Smart Key system, Key not in vehicle …
Steering wheel unlocked…
And Low Key Battery.
