05. AM/FM/SiriusXM® Satellite Radio: Setting Presets

Presets are a great way to access your favorite FM/AM and SiriusXM Satellite Radio stations at the touch of a button.

In fact, in this video, you will learn how to store up to forty preset frequencies… to include any combination of FM, AM and SiriusXM stations.
Here’s how to do it …
First, find and select a radio station that you like. Let’s say it’s FM station 100.5…

Then, while the station is playing, press and hold one of the preset buttons. In about a second, you will hear a beep; this means the station has been stored in the system’s memory.
If you don’t hear a beep, you may need to turn the Touch Screen Beep ON via the Sound Button in the SETUP menu.
SFX: Beep
Now, if you’re listening to another station and want to dial up 100.5 again, all you have to do is push the preset three, and you’re instantly listening to your favorite station.

Besides pressing preset numbers, your UVO eServices System also allows you to skip through them using your Seek/Preset button on your steering wheel.
HOST VO:
Press the button for less than a second and the system will move to the next preset. Just keep in mind that pressing it for longer than a second will scan to the next station with high quality reception.
