Spicy Asian Style Hot Wings on the Grilla Grills Pellet Grill

By now, you have learned that I love Hot Wings. Well actually just wings in general! This recipe brings the heat and adds a great twist to your standard hot wing recipe.

***What You Need***
- Large of Wings
- A Good Spicy BBQ Rub. (Killers Hogs Hot)
- 1/2 Cups of Your Favorite BBQ Sauce (Killer Hogs Vinegar)
- 1/4 Cup of Orange Marmalade
- 1/4 Cup of Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon of Minced Ginger
- 2 Tablespoon Sriracha Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons of Soy Sauce

The first thing we need to do is get the wings out of the package and ready to season. Sometimes the wings will need to be dried with a paper towel but these were good to go. Once the wings are seasoned you can let them sit out for a few minutes while you get your pit fired up.

This works great for wings and make it almost too easy to cook a huge amount of food! You can remove each tray and load it with wings before placing on the pit. Plus it works on almost any style grill or smoker. We fired the Silverbac up with some https://bearmountainbbq.com/collections/frontpage pellets. Set the pit to 300 and we are ready to cook!

Once the pit came up to temp, we got the wings on. With the rack we had plenty of room to spread the wings out and get plenty of air circulation around them. Its going to take the wings a little over an hour to get up to 195 internal so that gives us plenty of time to get the sauce made.

***For The Sauce**
Combine the listed ingredients below in a sauce pan over medium heat.
- 1/2 Cups of Your Favorite BBQ Sauce (Killer Hogs Vinegar)
- 1/4 Cup of Orange Marmalade
- 1/4 Cup of Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon of Minced Ginger
- 2 Tablespoon Sriracha Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons of Soy Sauce

Bring to a low simmer and allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes. It will thicken up some and get good and sticky!

Once the wings reached at least 195 internal, its time to get them off and toss them in the sauce. Once the wings are sauced, I always like to garnish with a few chopped green onions to really add another layer of flavor and color.

These wings hit all the flavor notes! They were sweet, spicy, and had a great Asian kick to wake the taste spuds up. The skin was tender and the meat had a ton of good flavor and moisture!
