- Endometriosis is a condition that can occur in any female between 12 to 50 years old.
- The pain is very excruciating, and the affected individual might need medication to relieve the pain.

- Before moving on to medication, the affected person might try some home remedies like warm bags, a hot water bath, or lying down on the ground. However, the possibility of pain relief is minimal.
- The most common medication recommended is a painkiller like ibuprofen, paracetamol, or others. But it should not be taken more than 3 times a day. Overall, the maximum number of tablets should not exceed 4 or 5.
- There is also an option for hormonal treatment like contraceptive pills that can relieve the pain.
- The third option is to give injections that can suppress the hormones to relieve the pain.
One more option (for women who already have children and are not planning to have more) is inserting a Mirena. It stops the periods and provides pain relief.
