Perú Construcción - Central Hidroelectrica - Chaglla - Huanuco

El proyecto Chaglla contempla la construcción y operación de una central hidroeléctrica en el río Huallaga en la Región Huánuco de Perú.

El proyecto es desarrollado por Empresa de Generación Huallaga, firma controlada por Odebrecht. La compañía estima que la central hidroeléctrica Chaglla generará un promedio anual de 2.749GWh que se inyectarán a la red del Sistema Eléctrico Interconectado Nacional a través de una línea de transmisión de 220kV.
Perú alberga un potencial hidroenergético de 69 mil megawatts (MW), equivalente a 69 centrales del Mantaro. Sin embargo, solo aprovecha el 4%, debido a la política pública de fomento a otras fuentes de generación eléctrica.
