Camille (1936) is an American romantic drama film from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer directed by George Cukor and produced by Irving Thalberg and Bernard H. Hyman. The picture is based on the 1848 novel and 1852 play La Dame aux Camélias by Alexandre Dumas, fils. The film stars Greta Garbo, Robert Taylor, Lionel Barrymore, Elizabeth Allan, Jessie Ralph, Henry Daniell, and Laura Hope Crews. It is also considered to be Greta Garbo's finest performance, and also her favourite film

I have to say, first of all, that I adore garbo in her performance here, more so than any of her other characters throughout her career. She was tragic but comedic and it's so ironic how she can juggle those two opposite traits so perfectly. Marguerite can easily be one of my favourite characters of all time 👏🏻 I do hope you enjoy this as much as I had fun making it :)
