CHEVY EXPRESS MISFIRES ANTS IN FUSE BOX

So, I had this 2012 Chevrolet Express Van with a 4.8 V8 engine come into my shop. Customer was complaining about a multi cylinder misfire on bank 1. Trouble codes present were P0171, P0300, P0201, P0203, P0205, P0207. After having another mechanic try to fix it by replacing ignition coils and having no luck, they brought it to me. What I found through my diagnosis was something that I had never seen before. Ants inside of the fuse box. Could these little insects be what is causing all of this electrical trouble? I'd like to know what you think!
