🚨 You added a Load Balancer…
Now your system is “highly available” 😌
But what if…
👉 the load balancer itself goes down? 😳

💀 Congrats… you created a single point of failure
All traffic goes through it
👉 If it dies →
Your entire system is DOWN
Even if all servers are healthy 💀

🧠 How big companies avoid this
They NEVER rely on just one load balancer

⚡ 1. Multiple Load Balancers
👉 Run 2 or more LBs
If one fails →
traffic shifts automatically

🌍 2. DNS Failover
👉 DNS can point to another LB
If primary is down →
users are redirected to backup

🔁 3. Health Checks
👉 Systems constantly check:
“Is LB alive?”
If not → remove it from rotation

🔥 4. Multi-region setup (advanced)
👉 Different regions, different LBs
If one region fails →
traffic goes to another 🌍

💣 Real truth
Load balancer solves scaling…
but ALSO introduces new risk
👉 Every solution creates a new problem 😅

If you’re designing real systems…
this is something you can’t ignore 👀
