Hayabusa vs KTM RC8 #KTM1190RC8vsHayabusa

The Suzuki Hayabusa is a sport bike motorcycle made by Suzuki since 1999. It immediately won acclaim as the world's fastest production motorcycle, with a top speed of 303 to 312 km/h.
he Hayabusa, also known as the GSX1300R, turns 20 in less than a year. How’s Suzuki going to celebrate.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), the Indian subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, has launched the 2020 edition of the Suzuki Hayabusa. The 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa is available in two new colours - Metallic Thunder Gray and Candy Daring Red but has not undergone any mechanical changes or been updated to meet the upcoming Bharat Stage VI (BS6) emission regulations which will come into effect from April 1, 2020. According to Suzuki India, the 2020 Hayabusa will be available in limited numbers and will get new graphics and a new front brake caliper. Prices for the 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa remain unchanged at Rs 13,74,941 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

"Suzuki Hayabusa has been the most preferred choice of the bike enthusiasts around the world for more than two decades now. Suzuki Hayabusa stands for its sensational power, smooth ride and overwhelming presence across countries. It enjoys a huge fan base among the enthusiasts in India as well. Moreover, it was the first one to become 'Made-in-India' big-bike from Suzuki Motorcycle India. Yet again, we are excited to offer the 2020 edition of the legendary Hayabusa," said Koichiro Hirao, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited.

The Suzuki Hayabusa is powered by a 1,340 cc, liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine which puts out 197 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 155 Nm of peak torque at 7,200 rpm. In India, the Suzuki Hayabusa has a niche fan following and became the first Suzuki big bike to be assembled in India, in 2017. The current Suzuki Hayabusa is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.74 seconds, and is capable of hitting a top speed limited to 299 kmph. The current Hayabusa will be the last model to be offered on sale in India, before Suzuki launches an all-new Hayabusa, with a completely revamped design, and all-new engine, possibly not before 2021.

Suzuki debuted its flagship lumpy fast thing as a 1999 model, and it soon became a legend in its own time. The looks have always been a bit polarizing (the Suzuki “Eye-Abuse-er”), but the aesthetics are hard to see anyway at full tilt. Since the GSX1300R’s inception, it has been many things to many people: speed freak steeds, hypertourers, stretched and slammed customs, engine donors for car projects, turbo face-melters, and even the choice of perfectly reasonable madmen who keep them stock.
KTM 1190 RC8-
The KTM 1190 RC8 was a sport bike made by KTM. The first generation 2008 model had a 1,148 cc V-twin engine and was the Austrian manufacturer's first-ever Superbike design. The RC8 model was supplemented with RC8 R models one year later in 2009 and the RC8 designation had its last year of production in 2010.
KTM’s 1190 RC8 R spent so many years being a concept–a V4 and then a V-twin–that no one knew whether this crazy orange design would ever see the light of day. KTM must be huge Ducati fans, as everything KTM has done with the 1190 RC8 R from the V-twin configuration, Ascari launch, and then Portimao launch, are all in the footsteps of the red giant from Bologna. But, was it a wise move, my dear Austrian friends? Isn’t V4 the future now.
There is no shortfall of compelling qualities in the sportbike category, but the Austrian-built KTM RC8 R possesses a concentration of characteristics that hit your senses with all the force of an avalanche. Foremost is the fact that this purebred superbike is built by a company largely perceived as a dirtbike manufacturer, but there is a whole lot more going on than that.
