Suzuki XL7 is a seven seater variant of the Maruti Ertiga based XL6
The upcoming Suzuki XL7 has been leaked very recently in an image.
Suzuki has now launched XL7, which is in fact a 7 seater variant of the XL6. The Suzuki XL7 in Indonesia is priced in a range from IDR 230 million to IDR 267 million (approx Rs.12-13.94 lakhs). It will compete with the Mitsubishi Xpander and the Honda BR-V in its segment.Launch in India is currently not on the cards as it is basically a revised version of an existing product.
The Suzuki XL7 unit you see here looks remarkably similar to the Indian-spec XL6. However, upon closer inspection, we are able to spot the different wheel design (which is noticeable bigger). The Suzuki XL7, at least in its Indonesian format, seems to have more crossover character than the Maruti XL6.

Suzuki is not employing the ‘XL7’ nametag for the first time. The Japanese brand had the XL7 7-seater SUV (based on the old Grand Vitara) in its global portfolio and some examples of the same had reached Indian shores too. However, the new-generation Suzuki XL7 shares most of its components with the Suzuki Ertiga.
The MPV bears a heavy resemblance to the Maruti Suzuki XL6 that is currently on sale in India. The said vehicle that has been snapped very recently might be introduced as a new model in the Indonesian market soon. While the XL7 looks almost the same as the Maruti Suzuki XL6, look closely and you will notice a slightly reworked grille along with fatter tyres. Now coming to the interiors, the XL7 is expected to have the same all-black interiors as the XL6. While the XL6 offers captain seats in the second row, the XL7 might come with bench seats to come as a seven-seater offering.
