Ineos Grenadier: This Boxy Brute SUV is Almost Production Ready!

The Ineos Grenadier is a modern throwback SUV. Its boxy shape reflects a beloved era of the Defender, but under the skin, it sports BMW inline-6 power and Magna-Steyr off-road know-how.

Yes, it certainly resembles the Defender. But that's because Ineos wanted Land Rover to keep making the old model. LR said no, so Ineos said "Fine, we'll do it ourselves!" And that's how we're arriving at the Grenadier.

This rig enters production later this year. Hopefully, it arrives in the North American market sometime by the end of 2023 or early 2024.
