Not long ago, the BYD Seal U was launched in its DMI or plug-in hybrid model, and now we have something altogether different and exciting—the BYD Sealion 7. This employs a sleeker, sportier profile with a coupe-like design on a similar platform, but its only powertrains are fully electric. The design isn't much different from the Seal U and the Seal sedan. That can be seen in the C-shaped headlight design, wrapping around the double headlight setup. The front is more aggressive, though the X-almost-shaped pattern makes it somewhat different from the Seal U DMI. It still carries some unique touches here and there. It mostly carries the same design language as the rest of BYD's lineup today.
Moving to the side, there are some notable differences. For this model, one will notice it comes with 20-inch wheels. The regular one uses 19 inches. The tire size in either case is not too bad, and the squared-off wheel arch gives it a more modern look. There's a little design trademark by BYD on the side, too. The door mirrors have integrated NFC, allowing users to unlock the car simply by tapping their phone against it.
